Aishah N. Ahmad, CFA, OFR is a globally respected leader with nearly 30 years of experience at the intersection of finance, equity, and governance. She convenes the Bridgforte Dialogues and serves as Soniya Asusu Nupe (“Treasurer of the Nupe People”), a traditional leadership role symbolizing stewardship of economic prosperity. 

She was Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where she enhanced financial system stability, championed reforms in banking and fintech, drove transformative financial inclusion initiatives, and advanced women’s leadership in finance and policy to historic highs. She has served on global boards including the Financial Alliance for Women and SOS Children’s Villages International, and was awarded Nigeria’s national honor of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) for her contributions to financial sector reform and inclusive growth.
